As part of our commitment to youth and in honour of International Youth Day, ONWA would like to highlight the wonderful work that youth are doing in their communities! During the month of August, ONWA will be doing recognitions posts on our social media platforms to showcase your submissions. If you are an Indigenous youth (ages 16-29), we would be honoured to feature your submission in this campaign..

A short written statement about about the good work you are doing

Tessa helps preserve and celebrate Indigenous voices by contributing to a community-led project collecting stories and art from across Canada.

Emma-Leigh founded The Circle of C’s Project to bring culturally rooted Indigenous workshops into schools, empowering youth through connection and pride.

Lacey provides cultural and emotional support to families facing violence, loss, and hardship with compassion and care.
